Venice Transport Strike Dec 10

ACTV announced a strike of all buses and water services including the vaporetti for December 10th. The latest information is that the strike will only last from 13.00-16.00.
We suggest you still check the ACTV site for latest information before travelling. However, the updated information only appears in Italian, just to confuse matters. Bear in mind the strike will only affect services operated by ACTV, so buses run by other companies from airports to Venice will still run. ACTV normally run a skeleton service to the outlying islands and around ‘rush hour’ even when a strike is in operation.
